Why We Built This
Pinterest is full of amazing content — recipes, design inspiration, DIY ideas, outfit references — but saving that content for offline use has always been unnecessarily difficult. Most Pinterest downloader tools online are cluttered with pop-up ads, fake download buttons, forced sign-ups, or watermarked results. Some don't even work half the time.
We got tired of it. So we built PintDown — a tool that actually respects the user, does one job, and does it well.
The Problem We Set Out to Solve
Every existing solution seemed to prioritize ad revenue over the actual user experience. You'd click "Download," get redirected through three different ad pages, and still end up with a low-quality file — or nothing at all. There was no straightforward way to simply paste a Pinterest link and get your video, image, or GIF in its original quality, instantly.
